The first Turkish diplomatic mission to Kenya was established in 1968 in Nairobi, which is today also accredited to Seychelles, United Nations Nairobi Office (UNON), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat).
The Turkish Embassy has been serving at its current chancery in Nairobi since 1990.
The consular services throughout Kenya and Seychelles are being covered by the Embassy.
